Dragons

Imagine being a dragon, to be able to fly anywhere you want on your own two wings and spit fire at will. Outstanding.
My friend is convinced that thousands of years ago, there were live dragons walking this planet. Some day, he says, someone will find a dragon skeleton buried deep down and we will know for sure. Of course this won’t prove dragons ever spit fire. But still.
In fairytales from all over the world you find dragons. East, west, south and north. Sometimes the dragons are good hearted creatures, sometimes they are pure evil. But they always seem to turn up as soon as there’s a good story to tell.
I wonder how it is that dragons are mentioned in all of these continental sagas from hundreds of years ago, long before we started inventing travel tools such as airplanes, trains and fast track cars. How could it be that everyone seemed to know what a dragon was although they were never to meet?
What if my friend is right.
What if dragons are real.
….so glad you had a inspiring time, i got the invite to go but couldnt , would have loved to see them play and to have seen you there too… Warmth. x
